ByteMembership Retainer Policy

Effective Date:  March 30, 2025

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for all monthly retainer plans ("ByteMemberships") offered by ByteSized Help LLC. These plans provide flexible, recurring access to consulting services either remotely via Zoom or in person, subject to availability.

Plan Structure

ByteMemberships are offered at three levels:

  • ByteBasics (2 hours)

  • ByteBoost (4 hours + priority response)

  • ByteBoss (6 hours + strategy call + Slack access)

Each level includes a set number of hours per month that may be used for any consulting service offered by ByteSized Help LLC, including ByteFix, System Tune-Up, Launch Planning, or other agreed-upon support.

Scheduling & Usage

  • Hours must be used within the same monthly billing cycle and do not roll over.

  • All sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

  • For in-person ByteMemberships, scheduling is subject to approval and travel policies.

  • Time may be split across multiple sessions as needed.

Remote Vs. In Person

  • Remote ByteMemberships are held via Zoom.

  • In-Person ByteMemberships take place at the client’s chosen location, subject to approval.

  • Travel fees apply to in-person plans and are outlined in the official Fee Schedule.

Payment & Auto-Renewal

  • ByteMemberships are billed monthly and automatically renew unless canceled prior to the next billing date.

  • Clients are responsible for managing their subscription.

  • No refunds will be issued for unused time or partial months after renewal.

Cancellatons, No Shows & Changes

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made with at least 24 hours' notice.

  • Late cancellations (within 24 hours) may result in a deduction of the time from your monthly allotment.

  • No-shows will be charged as if the session occurred and time will be deducted.

Additional Benefits

  • Priority Response: Faster turnaround for booking and support (typically within 1 business day).

  • Strategy Call: A 30-minute planning session per quarter (ByteBoss only).

  • Slack Access: Direct messaging for quick questions and async check-ins (ByteBoss only).

  • Free Access to Blog Content: Included with all ByteMembership plans.

Client Responsibilities

  • Clients are expected to provide necessary information or access to make sessions effective.

  • ByteSized Help LLC is not liable for outcomes based on client decisions or implementation.

This policy may be updated at any time. The latest version will always be available on the ByteSized Help website.
